Shipping Information

For information about how to order your wine online, please click here.

At Peter Michael Winery we are committed to a limited production of high-quality wines. Your offering primarily reflects your length of participation in our program and your buying history. We make every effort to be as equitable as possible. Due to our small production, we are not able to offer all wines to all members and we cannot guarantee offerings. Quantities are limited, and orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Order early to avoid disappointment.

You must provide your email address in order to receive prior notice of delivery . Orders must include a delivery address telephone number, an accurate shipping address, and a valid credit card number for payment. This helps eliminate delays and protects your investment. Missing information will impede the processing of your order and/or risk the safe delivery of your wine.

Wine can only be delivered to a person who is 21 years of age or older. All packages will be labeled “Adult Signature Required.” We strongly recommend shipping to a business where someone can sign for your package. In some cases, your shipment may arrive in two or more separate boxes. It your responsibility to make arrangements for the receipt and signature of each box. We now charge return fees of $10 ($20 for 3-tier states) along with any additional shipping charges after 3 unsuccessful delivery attempts have been made. Shipments may be delayed due to weather conditions observed from our end. Peter Michael Winery cannot be held accountable in the event of weather conditions that arise during transit or upon delivery.

Please calculate your shipping rate by multiplying your state's 1-3 bottle rate for each 3 bottle increment in your order. If you are ordering online, our shopping cart will calculate these rates for you. For example, the shipping rate for a 7 bottle order would be your state's 1-3 bottle rate times 3. Magnums count as two bottles for the purposes of calculating shipping fees, while 3 liter bottles are charged as four bottles:

We have chosen the shipper with the best-reported delivery record for your area. In most cases, this will be UPS 2-day Air.

In 3-tier states, shipments travel via Air to the city hub and the local retailer will choose the ground carrier for the final leg of delivery.

Due to storage restrictions, it is not possible to arrange for pick-up at the winery or the warehouse. Orders without a valid shipping address will be cancelled.

Please note that orders with Wish List requests will ship approximately one month later than Offering Only orders - as such, we highly recommend splitting your Wish List and Offering selections into two separate orders to ensure speedy delivery of your Offering selections.

Summer weather may result in unexpected last minute shipping delays.  We plan to begin shipping orders on September 19 (weather permitting).

International Shipping Policy

Please read this entire page before placing your international order.

At this time, we are accepting online international orders for Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Hong Kong, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom. If you would like to ship to another country, please give us a call at 1-800-354-4459 or 1-707-942-4459 to discuss your options. Only United States currency will be accepted for these orders.

Shipping Agents:

The winery's default shipping agent for all international orders is Aero Packing. If you specify a ship-to address outside the United States, our system will automatically flag your shipment for delivery by Aero Packing. Based on our special relationship, the winery will not charge you to deliver your wine to Aero. You are free to specify another shipping agent and provide their address as your ship-to address. In this case, our normal US shipping policies and charges will apply.

Most of our international customers use Aero Packing and are pleased with their services. For information on the details and costs of shipping to your country, please contact Aero Packing directly at (707) 554-2088 or via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

International Shipping Fees:

Once delivered to Aero Packing or your chosen shipping agent, you are responsible for all additional shipping charges, as well any applicable additional duties, taxes or import fees applied by your customs office. Please expect to be billed separately by your shipping agent (Aero Packing or other) or the appropriate government agency for these charges.

Winery Responsibility:

Once delivered to Aero or any US address of your choosing, the winery's responsibility for the safe transit and condition of your wine is concluded. Title passes to you at this point. You and your shipping agent assume all risk and responsibility from that point forward. You and your shipping agent are responsible for respecting all applicable US laws as well as all laws and regulations of the country into which you are importing the wine.

If you are an international customer from another country from those listed above, we still may be able to accommodate your order. Please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or give us a call at 1-800-354-4459 or 1-707-942-4459.
