Section 404 Individual Permit
The Seaview Vineyard is in the Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 404 permit application process as part of the conversion of selected areas from timberland to a vineyard agricultural utility. The CWA Section 404 permit was submitted on March 21, 2002. Presently, PMW is in the process of developing a mitigation plan to compensate for potential impacts of the project and incorporating public comments into the project design. The Knights Valley Vineyard is in full conformance with the guidelines and statutory requirements of the CWA.

Timber Harvest Plan and Timber Conversion Plan
The Seaview Vineyard has submitted both its Timber Harvest Plan and Timber Conversion Plan to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The Timber Harvest Plan was submitted to the Department of Forestry in November of 2001, the Timber Conversion Plan was submitted in March of 2002. The Timber Harvest Plan is presently under evaluation by the Department of Forestry for approval. Once the Timber Harvest Plan is approved, the Timber Conversion Plan will be reviewed by and released for public comment. The Knights Valley Vineyard is in full conformance with the guidelines and statutory requirements of the Forest Practices Act.

Waste Discharge Requirements and Water Quality Certification
The Seaview Vineyard submitted its application for waste discharge requirements and certification to the Regional Water Quality Control Board in February of 2002. As part of the review process, PMW is in the process of preparing a mitigation and monitoring plan to compensate for the potential impacts of the project on water quality. The Knights Valley Vineyard is in full conformance with the guidelines and statutory requirements of Section 401 of the CWA.

1603 Stream and Lakebed Alteration Agreement
A Stream and Lakebed Alteration Agreement application has been submitted to the California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) for the Seaview Vineyard as of January 14, 2002. An evaluation of the project description and conditions is underway, after which an agreement will be developed regarding the streambeds affected by the development of the Seaview property. The Knights Valley Vineyard is in full conformance with the state's guidelines and statutory requirements for DFG jurisdictional habitat.

Sonoma County Grading Permit
PMW will coordinate with the Sonoma County Grading Permit Department where appropriate on the Seaview Vineyard project in order to construct new roadways, rehabilitate existing roadways for the maintenance and harvesting of the vineyard, and to construct a pond for irrigation. In addition, an encroachment permit may be required for access from the county road (Seaview Road) to the vineyard road.

Sonoma County Vineyard Erosion & Sediment Control Ordinance (VESCO)
Peter Michael Winery will be submitting an application for compliance with the County's vineyard erosion control ordinance as part of it's Seaview vineyard project . The Knights Valley Vineyard is in full conformance with the guidelines and statutory requirements of the county in regards to vineyard erosion.

California Environmental Quality Act
Through the Timber Conversion Plan application submitted to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection in March of 2002, the Peter Michael Winery has submitted extensive environmental documentation concerning the Seaview Vineyard Project in support of compliance with CEQA. The Knights Valley Vineyard is in full conformance with the guidelines and statutory requirements of the CEQA.
