Clos du Ciel

The fruit for Clos du Ciel is grown in specific blocks of our Fort Ross-Seaview estate vineyard. This is the southernmost section of the vineyard and receives the least marine influence. It is also oriented more easterly than Ma Danseuse and Le Caprice, providing the greatest sun exposure, making it the warmest section of the property. Clos du Ciel has the most masculine structure of the three wines. Clos du Ciel, French for "wall-enclosed vineyard of the sky", is a metaphor for the rare microclimate of the vineyard estate.
