BLENDS OF RED BORDEAUX VARIETALS

Les Pavots

Les Pavots

Estate Vineyard, Knights Valley, Sonoma County

Our flagship blend of red Bordeaux varietals: typically two thirds Cabernet Sauvignon with roughly equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot and just a touch of Petit Verdot.

Au Paradis

Estate Vineyard, Oakville AVA,
Napa Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon from the heart of Oakville’s famed “red dirt” situated “In Heaven.” The sunny, hillside location helps develop the lush, intense fruit expected from this magnificent property.

L’Esprit des Pavots

Estate Vineyard, Knights Valley,
Sonoma County

“The Spirit of the Poppies” was sourced from younger vines on our estate. As the vineyard matured, “L’Esprit” has evolved into a Californian expression of our terroir.

SAUVIGNON BLANC & SÉMILLON

SAUVIGNON BLANC & SEMILLON

L’Après-Midi

Estate Vineyard, Knights Valley, Sonoma County

Blended with a touch of Sémillon, no malolactic fermentation was conducted in order to preserve the fruity and zesty character of the Sauvignon Blanc.

Coeur à Coeur

Estate Vineyard, Knights Valley, Sonoma County

Coeur à Coeur, “Heart to Heart,” is the ultimate expression of our passion for Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. The blend is equal parts of each grape.

PINOT NOIR

moulinrouge

Le Moulin Rouge

Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey County

The vineyard’s coastal soil and climate contribute a dense, yet delicate richness and complexity. It is named after the famous Paris nightclub.

Le Caprice

Seaview Estate Vineyard, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County

Grown on the steepest slopes of the vineyard. The name honors the rough vineyard terroir and the fickle nature of this grape.

Clos du Ciel

Seaview Estate Vineyard, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County

Grown on the warmest section of our coastal vineyards. French for “wall-enclosed vineyard of the sky” as a metaphor for the rare microclimate of the vineyard site.

Ma Danseuse

Seaview Estate Vineyard, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County

The most feminine of our Pinots Noir bottlings, the name translates to “My Dancer” in honor of Lady Michael as she and Sir Peter met on the dance floor.

CHARDONNAY:Vineyard Specific

chardonnay

Mon Plaisir

Estate Vineyard, Knights Valley, Sonoma County

French for "my pleasure," this super creamy, earthy wine has been produced every year since our inaugural vintage in 1987. Mon Plaisir is made exclusively from Old Wente clone fruit.

La Carrière

Estate Vineyard, Knights Valley, Sonoma County

La Carrière, “the quarry,” was named for its bowl shape and tremendously rocky soils. It typically offers the leanest most citrus like fruit profile of our Chardonnays.

Belle Côte

Estate Vineyard, Knights Valley, Sonoma County

Belle Côte, "Beautiful Slope," the first estate-grown Chardonnay offered by Peter Michael Winery, and shows the potential of the mountain vineyards.

Ma Belle-Fille

Estate Vineyard, Knights Valley, Sonoma County

A core of lean citrus and vivid minerality, layered with baked apple and nectarine. The name translates to “My Daughter In-Law” in honor of Emily Michael, Paul Michael’s wife.
